ghettoman - 2011-11-10 14:00
was that the one on the bay dave ? if so i saw that, they are a nice box,i like mitubishi boxes,i just hear people say the sound is'nt that great, but i'de still have one, just to play with the multi cassette deck..
davebush - 2011-11-10 14:04
yeah paul.......cant crank it up though....the baby`s in bed......dont normally like black boxes but had to have this one just for the changer
ghettoman - 2011-11-10 14:14
i remember these from the 80s,they used to sell them in a shop local to me,they were about £199,i remember hearing one, they do sound ok but not fantastic, but just for the fidgability of the cassette deck, its worth having just for that alone lol..if it does'nt sound that great try a speaker change, see if you can get it sounding better, the most bugging thing about it is the laziness from mitsibushi for only giving it a 3 band eq instead of 5,same with the smaller version..Annoying !!!! but still a nice box though no doubting that !!! i love misibushi, nice make..

hey guys i have one of these but i cant open the cassette door, any ideas?
brutus442 - 2011-11-12 18:43
Is the compartment spring loaded or pull/ release? If it's spring loaded aften the designer will incorperate a mechanical release similar to CD players.
Not sure about this model though....
davebush - 2011-11-12 23:41
its all logic control....press the open/close button and the draw slowly ejects.....exactly the same like when you do it on a cd/dvd draw
you can hear the motors running when you hit open/close button
brutus442 - 2011-11-13 04:35
Thanks davebush,
At least that gives driptip a leg up in troubleshooting. Could be a host of things then: gear, drive motor or simply the eject button malfunctioning. Regardless I think it's worth fixing...is quite unique!

Wow. That is very cool. I've seen those before but didn't know they had a tape-changing system.
