Well, that boombox definitely appears to be a "user" and frankly, the originality of the antennas would be the last thing on my mind.

wow Mr Vu, that is a great find, the ultimate box for most collectors regardless of condition, and this one looks like it needs tender love and care, the antennas look original tho there is not an upclose pic of them, tell us more about the radio.

nice find mr vu but as sn said i would't worry about the antennas to much i would get on with a full resto on it as it's such a high end box and hard to get your hands on....took me ages to get my hands on one as collectors like to keep them

Sorry to bleat on, but, i wished i would have kept mine. Radiohier, got one of the nicest ones, when he got mine . This one, needs the old stardrops treatment.

I also came across, two antennas are very similar.
M90 JVC box in a state of inactivity, I need to check out the bass and tress, source, IC ... hope it remains.

Oh Mr Vu....the Holy Grail...
She just needs some TLC. I believe those antenna are real from the pictures, but it's hard to tell for sure.
