Thoughts/Information on this box..

Ahoy,
I bought this box aaages ago, it went in the cupboard and I ended up forgetting about it. I pulled it out today with the intention on putting on here for sale. As I was cleaning it up I realised I'd never even plugged it in. I powered it up and the tape decks dont work but the radio is fine....My point here is I was really impressed with the sound for such a generic small box!! might keep it now...
Heres some pics tell me what you think or any info you have on it.

You should keep it. Just needs a little TLC and she's back to life!!!

I like Sanyo's 1980's products, the radios in them are usually very good.
That model looks like a Sanyo DSR1 with the SW and LW bands added to it. The DSR1 was also made in Singapore.
I have a DSR1 and it was in storage for a long time and won't play tapes. So, it needs some work... The radio works well, though -- the MW section pulls in the stations pretty well. I'm more into radios than playing tapes, anyway....
