Even the cassette player works although only out of one speaker. Since yesterday I got the tape player running properly but is a bit wow & flutterish

I`ve never heard of this brand either. Thought it might have been a bombeat 40 for £1 .

i agree with Bision-very toshiba esquehad a small harvard box a while ago but never a harvey.....wonder if its in the database?

and it sounds possibly like she needs a bit of contact spray in all the switches and contacts-especially if both speakers work on radio but only one on tape.....if not,and if your confident enough,take the back off and do a visual examination only.....look for any loose wires etc-if your not sure post up in the tech area

Yes I sprayed the controls with servisol & its fine now.

i knew it would be something simple.....now load that cassette and enjoy her sound
