well guys,had a great result saturday when i scored a sharp gf500 from a local guy near me in leeds-i parted with my jvc 770 and my national panasonic 5030 to get it,best thing was it was described as part working but when he came with it was fully working-so im left over the moon and another addition to the small family
check this out,heres a brochure scan of the box:
mine obviously isnt in the same condition as this but you get the idea lol-a great all round small box that i think ill hold onto-and 35watts according to the back plate

they'll usually end up with someone else as Andy can't hold onto a box for longer than 5 minutes! ....I'm still loving the 9494 I traded with Andy so I'm not complaining!

cheers guys,yes andy they are well specced out for a small box,those speakers are only small but they kick the sound out very well-if you can get one andy get one

Hello folks,
I bought one of these recently and although it was described as 'fully working' it has no rubber on either of the pinch rollers and there is just a noise coming from the take up hub on one of the tape mechs so I would say 'not really fully working'!
The aerial is broken near the tip and the casing is tatty too but if anyone fancies a project or some parts then it owes me £20 and it's in Leicester!

hi SM,it sounds good to say the speakers are small,its not bass heavy shall we say but its certainly detectable on bass and makes radio broadcasts sound crisp and refreshing,even if they are all banging on about jimmy saville lol-quite a heavy little thing too-its a nice alternative to your average mini-just wish mine was a bit tidier sadly-and its picked up an annoying crackle in the left speaker when the radio is on but dissapears when the tapes are on.....tried switch cleaner but to no avail.....ah well,never mindits not that bad
