buy the pioneer and the 8200 mr vu but if it comes to it just buy the pioneer .

've put a lot of attention TRK 8200 and pioneer, thanks deliverance 

iv'e owned the 8200 and it's a decent box, but i suspect the pioneer has superior sound try and get both if you can, but like Lee says, give em a good bath

Yeah. The pioneer, is no good, without the speaker covers. Took mine off the sk95. Not for long though. They were soon back on. The deck on these things, is an absolute pain to fix.

think the pioneer has the covers Rich, look at the first pic of it, think they was taken off just to show the woofers

no probs mate, not a big fan of cloth covers tbh, once they've torn there's not much you can do apart from ditch em

Go for the Pioneer SK-95. 

Just take it for its LED VU meter, if it is working. SK-95 has got one of the best LED VU meters ever seen. 12 segments dancing so smoothly and perfectly with music. And they didn't make a big display like others by fitting 5 LEDs, 1 inch apart from each other. 12 x 2 LEDs stacked, touching each other.

And SK-95 has a SWEETER sound than a Panasonic RX-7000 or Sharp GF-777.

Don't bother about the condition of cassette deck. Even if it is working today, it will stop sooner or later, head will clog every half an hour and so on. If Line-In is working you can hear as well as "SEE" the music even from a mobile phone MP3 player.

What is that JBL logo on the left side? Is it co-branded (fitted with JBL speaker) or only a sticker? 

Just forgot to add, yet another unique feature of SK-95.

Is the Radio tuning dial working?. SK-95 has an amazing Tuning dial as seen below. (Video not posted by me.)
