Brought back home today those two beauties!

The 1st one is a slim Sanyo M6900 in a bright red colour

bought for 4 euros

and the 2nd one is a heavy 3-piecer

a Sanyo C4 bought for 7 euros !!

Now both of them are in full working condition.

I m surprised with the condition of the c4 which is

close to perfect no scratches,crystal clear sound

the cassette deck plays at the right speed

and the  line in also sounds great !

nice box the sanyo....i had the c9....pretty powerful but the bass wasn't that impressive.....congrats deech

bad news about that tosh deech....it's knackered im afraid...it had a fall about a year ago of my windowsill....since then i ain't looked at it....anyway i dug it out to see if it was working for you....one of the volume sliders has smashed so it only works on 1 channel and the passive radiators are smashed off inside the cabs....so it's another box for the tip im afraid as i can't repair it and it would cost you to much to send it even if i gave it for free...im sorry about that deech but the box really is bin worthy now

The tosh HR-01 is one of my favourites.

I wanted this box as i really like the looks of it.

How did it get damaged so badly? ? ?

The c9 has more features than the c4?

It basically fell off my windowsill about a year ago ...onto a concrete floor...im not realy bothered though apart from the fact you want it...i have just lost most of my interest in boomboxes now....my crown 970 did the same but luckily that survived and has been passed on to it's new owner.....if i could get the tosh repaired i would.....but nobody repairs things any more....because it's a flippin throw away nation now...with shitty ipods and the like...

i tried to get a speaker crossover repaired the other day for a friend...and the guy who used to be a tech couldn't even be bothered to repair it...only a couple of caps needed doing too...i hate this world and it's shitty ipods....im actually quite annoyed so maybe i am on a downer about the tosh.....as it was a mint beautiful radio

Now if i get my hands on that tosh of yours i would try

and get it repaired! No doubt about that .

And i have to add that is not good to place a bbox near

windows or near heights that they might fall . you never know..

That track is bloody awful deech lol.....thanks for you're thoughtful post.....if retrodos were in the uk he could fix the tosh in 5 mins....it just really annoys me that nobody does electrical work any more.....this tosh is 10 times rarer than the bombeat 40 and looks way better...such a shame lad...

i dont know if its rarer than the

bombeat 40 but is rare for sure.

The job of a technician is not paid well anymore

maybe this is the reason why noone bothers.

Next sunday the seler  promised to bring a lasonic,

i showed him some pics from my mobile phone

and he said that it looked like the unisef 5100

now if i m not mistaken the lasonic that looks like

this unisef is the TRC-931 !!!

and the decks are not side by side but one upon the other.

theres plenty with decks like that if you look at all the aka`s,

im in Turkey in june Deech,i might get the boat over on a sunday morning to your

market

Bison when you ll be in Turkey take the Saturday  morning boat to

make sure you ll be in time for the market , enjoy the Aegean sea

and the islands and the next morning 1st thing head to the flea market !

If you go to Istanbul i m sure that they have a great market there as well.
