Man, that box is over the top.  They really didn't want you to forget that the sound was "High Fidelity" did they LOL.  I remember a place in Portland in the old Newberrry's five and dime called Pearl Trading company I think it was.  They repaired watches and sold radios, electric razors, watches, etc., but what I really remember is the wall of boomboxes behind the register.  They mainly sold off brands but they did have some nicer ones too.  They had quite a few that looked like this model.  That is before I was really into portable audio, but really I didn't have the $ to buy much of anything back then.  I wish I could go back in time and do some shopping
