Arrived last week, very dirty looked like whoever owned it had a 20 a day habit. Plugged it in powered up no problem. Popped in my RUN-DMC Raising Hell Cassette and pressed play. NOTHING. So I pressed eject to get my cassette back. NOTHING!!! Deck had jammed ARRRRGH!!! So off to the table to open it up. After a bit of gear massaging managed to retrieve it. Also noticed one of the battery wires was detached so out came the soldering iron. Whilst I had it open thought i'd clean the speakers as they were very dusty and the grills were in need of a spray so unclipped them and gave them a coat of paint. I use black BBQ spray as it gives a nice matt finish. before I put it all back together tested tape with a copy and was pleased it now worked no problems with the radio so all good. Must have been a long time since it was last used. I PROMISE i'll take step by step pics on my next box, but anyway here is the result...
