Sears and Roebuck Sr2000

rjkwerty - 2013-05-18 22:07

Hello everyone! I thought I'd share a small boombox I bought at a rummage sale for $2. I've tried to look it up on the internet, but to no avail. It's a sears and roebuck sr 2000, and that's all I really know about it, also that it was most likely manufactured in the 80's.

It has fantastic sound and everything on it works like a charm.

It's cute.  I like it. I heard it playing and sounded nice too

I enjoy it as well. This is really a lucky gem I found, I'm looking forward to using it more often

For 2 bucks and it works??

You can't go wrong with that!!!

Now you need some 80;s vintage clothing and some leg warmers  with a fat neon coloured shoelace in your hair to walk around town playing an 80's cassette, so you look like you slipped thru a time portal like I look most of the time with my 80's stuff. It attracts a lot of attention .

Oh wow, that's exactly what it looks like! except the colour, of course. The only other difference is there's no switch by the tuning knob. I like the red of it.  is it 4 channel or 2 channel? Mine only has two channels, AM/FM

Heck no! I saw it and i instantly fell in love with it, i asked the person how much they wanted for it, and $2 they said. I'm surprised it works as well as it does, it's only a bit dirty, and the tuning knob feels a little sticky (hard to explain) but works like a charm, and had fresh batteries that came with it

Ha ha, I wish! I certainly don't have the body type to do that, but I use to have some leg warmers. I don't know what happened to them. I know where I can get shoelaces You always look fantastic, joey <3
