the sanyo is a beauty,well done,and at that price you cant go wrong-i had one years ago i got free from a recycling centre but it was really battered sadlyjust got a new mini myself,check out the pic:

had a look at it for a friend and discovered the walkman needs a new motor and belts and the power switch is broken on it,so like a mate he is he said i could take italas its going to take some rerpairing over a long period (imagine trying to source a motor for it)but i love its tiny dimensions and how damn good it soundsthe radio section still works toocant believe its an alba

the sanyo you have is a treasure,one of the best minis ever made,so congrats on a really nice little one and have fun cleaning her up-the belts not massively hard to change for a sanyo either

Thanks for the comments, really can't believe I got it so cheap. Love the fact it's loaded with features and the aerials are complete with their white tips. 

It's arrived safe and sound . Needed a good clean up and the pots de-crackled. Here's a quick pic with my crappy Nokia. Still it sounds fantastic using my micro SD cassette!!!

Yeah, I like that one a lot. Looking for one myself actually . Will have one sooner or later.
