any of the JVC Kaboom remotes will work if you cant locate the exact one for that model..

It became my favorite too! For sure this is going to be the grail of the kabooms in a couple of years. Or maybe it already is. I saw them go on ebay for quite some money.

It is the best kaboom M all the others sound rubbish on cassette....i have had them.....

the dp 200 is the main reason i sold my long held boxes especially when i bought my boxed one,,,,sure other boxes sound good but can't touch the dp200....so i had a load of cash plus the dp200's....the only thing bout the m90 that's better is it's clearer in the treble...but apart from that it can't touch the dp200 not even with better drivers....

im thinking of trying some pioneer 909 drivers in my every day user dp200...mind you it's as clear as 90 percent of the boxes out there

Yeah, I also checked out a B99 kaboom. It sounded good, but was lacking highs. There is no way to adjust trebble on it  

Only problem I had with the DP's was that both hadn't been used for some time, so the cassettes were stuck. And if there are tapes in it, you can't open the door.. it just makes some clicking noises.. Had to drop them from 20cm flat on the ground to free the tapes lol  Its solved by cleaning the decks and a tighter belt. Now they work great.

Not sure if the 909 speakers fit. They seem to have a much larger diameter. The 909 speakers are rated 15W @ 8ohm. I didnt look how much ohms the dp speakers have. Power is rated 10W I can remember when I opened it.

Would love to find a 200 too. Like the way they look and the LEDs are cool!  But I think they are very rare over here.

Netherlands, afraid shipping would cost more than I paid for my almost mint dp100. I wouldn't even trade the 909 for a m90. 

you wouldn't trade the 909 for an m90   mmm very strange since the m90 eats the 909 in every way... and you cant compare an m70....i wouldnt give one house room..that's just me...don't mean to offend

Agree, but one has to find a 909. One can buy a M90. At least from my perspective. I'm sure I will ever buy a 90 and I'm sure it's going to be really difficult to get another 909.

Missing remote problem solved! Now I need more DPs for the extra remotes lol
