I guess by now some of you have seen this. Cassette MP3 Player!

I was thinking to myself how to get MP3's in my deck without modding it and came up with the idea of fitting a small MP3 player inside a cassette adapter.

So I got on line looking for a cheap adapter and this thing popped up... some one beat me to it, and here I thought I was being soooo clever LOL

oh yeah, awesome idea them cassettes.., i use two of them...

NICE!!! I've got to get one for my Lasonic. Beats using velcro and my MP3 player on top with the 4 foot RCA adapter.

I bought one of these cassette mp3 players exactly like the one in the link nearly a year ago from Ebay for about $13 including shipping and they are awesome! The sound is excellent and you can put about 2 gigs of music on the SD card. You play the next song by forwarding for about 3 seconds, pressing stop, and press play again.

I have the "DIGISETTE" version. It's similar in concept, but made out of aluminum. Plus, you can plug headphones into it and listen to music that way, too.

i got one of both - in fact i have three different Digisettes, this "new" one here is quite ok, but besides the handling of bigger memory not better than the digisette (not to talk about the easier way of putting files onto it...), the Digisette is much nicer made, good material etc.

maybe one day we're talking here about those as collector's items - who knows ?

for anybody who doesn't have any experiance with one of those - get one - besides that link checkout f.ex. here: other source...

This article is from 2001-and the cassette MP3 player in the article only had 32MB.

well i found one the other way around - tape speakers - as you can guess not the biggest sound

I like JT have a Digisette (sent to me from Highvoltage - aka Michael Tucker, would you believe!).
It's great & I still use it now...

I bought one of these a couple years ago. Cool concept but I think mine is busted. It plays a couple songs then goes back to the beginning and SKIPS!
WTF! how can digital skip? Also it's cool that you can ff and rw to get to the next song but mine doesn't work that well. My battery doesnt seem to hold a charge well as it starts to crap out after an hour or so.
I might get the digisette/metal version I hear it's better quality but it holds less songs.

I'll bust it out again and try messing with it.
Maybe something will change.

Also you can´t copy MP3 to MP3 on a doubledecker.
