Companies dont usually sell direct to consumers, thats why.

Except for the nearly 2 years that Lasonic sold the i931 directly to consumers. The last two Sony boxes that I bought directly from Sony must have been some kind of mistake. JVC does redirect you to a dealer though so I'll give you that.

Direct consumer sales are usually over priced if a company has dealers.
Its all bussiness policy balony.
