These 2 in the pics do it for me in the looks department.I would take off the stickers tough and put some unique ones.

deffo better than the "classic" sticker-design.

I'd like the white one, even if my IPod Touch would not fit i guess.

I like the cleaner looks, if they just changed to stickers to normal lettering and some chrome accents that would be a nice looking box IMHO.

It holds a variety of them. It holds the classic ipod then it also comes with 4 adapters for various sized MP3 players.

Though it's nice to see variety,I don't personally care for the pattern on the front.If its between the original and the Stars and Straps I'll tale the standard issue hands down.However if Lasonic sells enough of the 1931,a line of after market alternate fascia decals would be fantastic!

The box it comes in is certainly cool!

I finally saw these in person at Frys this week, I literally fell over when I saw them. Almost bought one too, they were $199.

Then I picked it up, looked it over.

I dont think I saw a line in? Im sure thats been talked to death in another thread. I'll have to run a search.

I passed on it. Not really sure why. I guess I thought it was going to be more like the last rounded edge generation. But it feels even cheaper quality than that.

Something like this one, would be cool; in that you could create your own stickers. Something with Breakin on it or Hip Hop stuff....

i'm pretty sure other people have already said it, but i'll say it again...these things look so CHEAP. there is virtually no detailing! it doesn't cost anything extra to injection mold some extra ridges and grills on the front, but that's seriously what sets most of the older boxes apart and makes them look so hot. if people who aren't into boxes wanna spend 200 on a box that falls flat, that's fine, but seriously, you could get a real box for that price.

I think the idea was great unfortunately I also think the execution was fairly poor. I really don't think much thought went into it beyond making it Ipod compatible.

I kind of get the feeling that Lasonic is single handedly going to put a stop to any kind of retro box revival. I know some of you like your i931 and that's cool, I just think Lasonic didn't do well enough to restart any boombox revival.
