I do want to comment on some of the gripes with the price.

First I'd like to start with.....raise your hand if you can program microprocessors with about roughly 4000 lines of code........anyone?

Ok well the integration of the LCD plus Ipod control takes a LOT of work to pull off. Just get the API (application program interface) right is major to begin with. Now add the rest of the fact that these are SUPER LOW volume......they are TAKING A LOSS, just to see if the market will support mass production. 30 units? Hell, they spent more on R&D than selling all the units they did.....its a loss......guaranteed.

I'm not saying I relish the higher price......but that is CHEAP and risky to boot. I commend them for feeling us out. The mentality of I want something for next to nothing really gets old after a while, and that seems to be what is happening here.

Could it be cheaper......yup......but at least they DEVELOPED it in the first place. I'm sure they'll build up 100 or so and see how that goes........you have to remember its supply and demand vs RISK!

My remote was the same way, limited run, higher cost.....demand......low/zero.....so that is what is happening with lasonic......makes perfect sense to me!

I'll be grabbing one when they come out again.
