OK what's the price really going to be? We've seen at least $149, $169 and $219 that I can remember. Anybody else seen other prices listed?

They are taking long enough to release it that I'm thinking the final price may be $299 or more. We'll see when it's finally released.

JC your such a "no tape playing" boombox hater hehe Most of my boomboxes have dead tape players, so it doesn't really matter for me

It says "buy it in Frys and Urban Outfitters in March".This means there are obviously more of them currently out there.Perhaps this was just a tease of a pre release.I'm interested in finding out the inset availability before I purchase.Also if it's atrociously bad,I just may save myself from spending $219.00.However,If its so much as decent though I will be buying one.

It might be somewhat better to wait a minute... When the box hits the small electronics shops like back in the day, the price may have about $20-$50 chopped off. Personally, that's the way I wanna do it this time around (just like back in late 1986/early 1987 when I got my TRC-931): go inside the shop, marvel at it for a minute or 2, put my cash down and walk out with the brand new box happy than a muthaphukka! The feelin' will surely never be as good as it was on that day, but still,... maybe lightning can strike twice.
