Today i shot this Philips at ebay.
Was sold for parting out, so i get it for 4euros.
At home i was happy, everything works!
OK, the speakers are missing, but the body ist in good condition.
I like the typical old style, but including CD.
Nice is the LED-unit in the middle of the player (track-nr.).
2 servo-controlled Tapedecks.
Radio with spatial stereo.
2 different 5band-equalizers for the left and the right!
Now i´m looking for the speakers, but i´m afraid i wo´nt find the originals.
Have anybody pictures of it?
Anybody knows how old it is?
A rare relict you found there!Congrats!

It came out first 1987.
The speakers seem to be 3 but actually only have two way systems are built in...
here are some specifications :
More and more rare one's are appearing!
Hey, thanks to TPR, you are great.
I have an dead Philips-Box with speakers near to this. So i will take that. Better than nothing...

I tell you i LOVE it!!
What great design on this!I can't stop looking at it..It got all the things i like on bbx.
flat metal-type knobs, LED's , nice color-sheme..and a vertical CD-player!!
now that is friggin cool!
great addition there Roman.
i think, now that i've seen it i need one too
The rare ones are the best ones! And Europe seems to have a lock on these!
I had one of theese a complete unit unfortunetly i gave it away a white one, let me tell you with the speakers it is probbly the longest boombox ever made. Nice pick up congrats.
So, now it has a new home!
I took it to the factory.
Working in our büro.
Every time when i looked to the radio, i feel like
Mega-Ugly Panasonic:
We gave it to other workers.
The boxes i took from the broken Philips box and put it into the corners of the room.
The body is working at our table.
Looks+sounds very well.
Tomorrow i will take a photo...
That is a great lookin unit. I like the verticle center cd player surrounded by 2 feather touch control tape decks...and still looks oldskool thats the best of three worlds. Nice catch Roman great price too!
Thanks for enjoying!
Early in the morning i produced 2 adapter-cables for the speakers.
Now the box is playing on my table, 8 hours a day when working.
Left side, next to the flowers, you can see one of the speakers.
I´m hoping to a long life of it.
Nice.
Which speakers did you use with it?
Thanks!
I will take a look tomorrow.
I used the speakers of a died Philips-Box.
The rest of the box i will part out, for repairing 2 others.
The box on the top spent the speakers.
I think it was´nt interesting to repair it (i don´t like it too).
The box on bottom i found last year on a fleamarket, the tapedeck is dead.
Maybe i can use parts of the first one...
some nice ones there
Thanks for agreeing.
I´m afraid the motor is burned down.
The fast forward button was pushed all the time while the last owner was playing radio.
When i opened it , it smells like "electronic"
The problem is, this box has an servocontrolled tapedeck.
But maybe i can use the motor.
Or i buy the boxwreck (see "broken dreams") and it will surely fit.

& would've cost a small fortune, even though it's a Philips...
