Indeed:
Description:"Think of the PSS100B as the Run DMC of Black & Decker’s “Power To Go” line, wrapping a big-ass SLA battery, a 120V inverter, LED lights, and an AM/FM digital radio all up in a package that Funkmaster Flex would’ve happily carried ’round. And don’t forget the MP3 player compartment — complete with an audio tap and a USB power source for charging.
Black & Decker claims the battery will provide up to 12 hours of runtime — though they don’t specify runtime of what. The speakers are 4″ woofers with 1″ tweeters, boosted by a bass enhancement system which you can turn off for listening to talk radio.
Bonus: if you have a Motorola RAZR or other USB-charging phone, this’ll provide the juice you need to keep talking. Super bonus: Amazon has this on sale for $80 right now."
A new trend is coming up,but it`s not reaching any retro sketches and not to compare with the beatbox-rambuction box!
That Black & Decker box lists for $200 and is actually on sale now at Amazon for $110.61, about 45% off. Looks interesting, but it was more interesting at around $80... I think there are some used ones for that price...
The first one is the same i got for free.
It´s nice the ability to connect USB, but it´s sooooo ugly...
Thanks for the link, but I get free 2nd day air shipping on almost everything Amazon sells so it is still cheaper for me through Amazon.

Yes indeed & I'll put good money on the Philips in the background sounding somewhat better too
To me, the ugly looks would be eminently forgivable if they
sounded better.
I know I harp on about this, but these are devices for playing music. Precisely when did manufacturers forget this salient fact & assume we'd be happy with something with thin-sounding 3" speakers?

Thats for sure

Yes, i found at the sundays flea 2 nice speakers for it.
Today i played some CD´s at it.
A 25years old machine and playing fine.
I think the egg would never get that old...
1 year old and the USB spins every time.
But i love my LASONIC ipod.
Playing every connection and good looking.
The best new box i bought.
Offtopic: At the fleas there a lot of those eggs around. Many of them only 2-3years old.
Most damaged around, anything broken, unbelieveable dirty. What do people with it?
