i cant use tapes anymore chaps,they are just too much messing about for me,told you reno lad,these Sony Nwz818 are nice,they sound great playing through a box,also my 60gb Archos AV500,they are nice too,so much nicer and clearer,crisper than tapes..

i aint trying to change you but you need to share the old with the new,right now i've got my headphones on my tiny sony 818 playing james - blunt back to bedlam,sounds crystal clear lad..this sony is awsom..

As for Ipod,i can talk about my hate for them all day,if they had been made by any other brand other than Apple,they would have been a beautiful thing,but apple and itunes balls it up,its totally locked to them and even when you own one,they still own it by making you use itunes for everything,and they limit it to what you can do with it,no freedome to do what you want,they turned an item of beauty into an horrible useless device,i've had 3,one broke,and 2 i recently sold because of my hatred of itunes..oh and they try to extract every last penny out of you,eg you buy an 8gb ipod touch,they deliberately dont have a sd card slot to expand the memory,you have to sell your old one at a massive loss to buy a new one which cost megga bucks..Hate Apple !! Sorry,Cry Over..

A little wood veneer, chrome and charcoal paint could possibly make it less visually offensive.

i got to check out this box at j&r today...i like the feel of it... it feels like a rubbery surface guess that's good for it wont get scratched maybe...the controls seem sturdy, and the LEDs i like...didn't listen to it much because i was in a rush...but its medium small...the handle seems sturdy...the only thing i wish it had a clamp for the ipod like the innovative technologies box.. to keep it a bit more secured on the dock base...seems like the base adapter moves...i would need further testing..

actually this little box screams, really impressed with the sound, i like the features and design.... for ex..on the ipod dock itself...the pin connector swivels and has a clamp bar to secure your ipod, or iphone....i bought it twice actually...but for some reason i got two defective ones...the bulbs on the mode and play button wouldnt light up when power on....i returned both of them...to me it sounds better than the i931...cleaner sound...and with a surround sound type sound...i would get it again elsewhere and i do recommend it for those looking for an ipod dock box...but i think i might go for an imt810...next...
