Nakamichi Dragon Boombox Concept

So here's a minimalist boombox concept I started over a year ago that was never completed. It has two multifunction knobs like The TDK boombox, but I started on this months before it was introduced as mentioned at an earlier time in the forum. The part that I didn't complete was the slide-out drawer below the cassette deck revealing the boombox's manual controls similar to the Sony CFS-W900. The boombox has a touch-screen display and can be controlled by air remote or bluetooth as well. The speakers are acoustically isolated from the main component with dampening rods.

Nice work Retro. It would weigh an absolute tonne...but I can think of few better ways to put your shoulder out. A NAK Boombox? Now that would be something. And expensive! Some great renderings here, great work and a great talent

Thanks Nak D, I wasn't sure about this one, thought it was a bit weird.

hahaha, nice one retro, i can see the PC5 speakers on it, and sure looks like it would weight a ton, have you ever thought of a touch screen boombox?

Very nice. Ribbon tweets too -- my kind of box Not sure what to think about the mixed wood/black finish though. But the all black one is a sure winner.

Nice boombox, I really miss mine from back in the day, what kind of modern features does it have besides the obvious (cassette)? Does it have a flip down panel to reveal a CD player, USB/SD Card or anything?

Real fascinating work.
Don't let the design sleep in your computer.
So when can we get one in the shop? and for how much?
