The UE looks pretty slick, the photo doesn't do it justice, but it has an aluminum finish.

blaster - 2012-09-02 16:10
true looks like a kaboom... they shoulda went back to the original blueprints and revamped the 777 call it the GF-X-2000....or brought back the HK9000...
blaster - 2012-09-02 16:15
with retros prototype design...
claret.badger - 2012-09-02 16:50
there is an elephant in the room they won't address

.... retro's design, the ultimate sharp 777 comeback....i always said retro should work for sharp designing....
retro - 2012-09-02 17:56
Thanks I guess they believe the new generation they're targeting are opposed to angular design. Maybe they should take the time out to consult with some of the original designers if they want to go retro.
andyboombox - 2012-09-03 03:03
yeah i think the new ones just lack that feel and look of the original boxes retro,sorry-no matter how much they jazz them up and try to go retro-they just arent like the ones we know and love.....now if sharp got on the case and put your modern day 777 into production, then id be all over it like a rashtheres enough of the original in that to make it truely appealing to collectors of original blasters-although i dread to think what the rrp would be on it nowadaystrouble is,nowadays its all ipod or iphone this and that and when you peel back the truth its all rubbish-most "boomboxes" now are nothing more than docking stations for silly gadgets with "i" in front of their names.....if they are going to bring out a true new boombox then it has to be like an original.....not to be mated with crap inventions like ipods and iphones

New from the Edward D Wood Jr collection. Those would go nice with an angora sweater and some high heals.

They aptly named as their new boombox while there's nothing "boxy" about it.
