I was checking it out yesterday at best buy...they had two of them blasting....i must admit i was impressed with the sound....it sounded quite clear but they should of put mids on it....the bass overall good..too bad it doesn't take batteries ....i also tested out at BB the sharp gx-m10...sounded loud....i was rocking the floor some of my electro megamixes....some of what these youngsters dont anything about...all they know is little wayne,..and drake ....and they call that music.......i carried it by the handle...saw the bass thumping....i like the tilting features when i put it back.....also this needs mids to be perfect but over still a good box to blast to take with you....i would get one still in black....

hey blaster,  is it as big as the kaboom ? heavy? 

i never really heard or tested out a kaboom but i think its bit bigger, a bit bulky i must admit because it rounded..one thing though .i wish it didnt have the cd player dont need it...its extra weight i should say...

to be honest..... the best portable ipod dock is the altec lasing imt800-810....i had one and sold it i so regret it....its balanced out in so many ways....that one i would get it again for keeps....but too bad its not made anymore....the company was taken over

ret,..if your gonna check out the sharp not all best buys have it displayed to test out....the one in kings plaza does in BK has it on the shelf...the best buy in 14st had the beats box two of them blasting on a table....not sure if they still do today...
