On Saturday, July 4, Panasonic Fan retired as moderator of this forum.

For over five years, Bill has volunteered his time and expertise to fellow boombox hobbyists and was dedicated to making this forum operate likely a finely tuned RX-5350. His value in troubleshooting technical problems will be sorely missed. I sincerely appreciate his commitment.

Hmm, now....., I fill that the part of me is loosed.

I haven't been around long enough to know all the contributions of PanFan but his avatar has been ubiquitous in the forums, no question.

In my book, anyone willing to devote and volunteer 5 years of their time is worthy of deep appreciation and gratitude.

New to here but, will miss him as there was loads of information given and some one who knows this site and how it was run

I never got the chance to chat with him, but from what I'm reading here, he was a swell guy!!! He is indeed a special person, because this is a special site. And we are special people because we love something that so many people have take for granted, BOOM BOXES!!!
