Found this today from flea market:
Anyone ever heard of Sound Creation?
Interesting!
Parted a time ago a similar one AUDIOTON:
And i own a second one with the exact same look(stereo logos in speakers).
Also a AUDIOTON
But instead the 2 led´s, it owns a led-vu-meter.
Both have been stickered!
How does that thing soud? I didn't have time to try it out. Looked a bit cheap so didn't take it. Only 5e though...
From what year is this approximately?
The parted one have never worked (as i got it).
The second one i found on the dump, stored so in the cellar.
I will take it out tomorrow and test it.
But don´t expect an high end unit...
Think it´s out of the mid 80´s
btw: where are you located?
Thanks! I wasn't expectin any high end audio, just wanna know is there any use for it.
I also have this Jetstar.
Any info on that one?
I'm from Finland, near Helsinki.
I will check it out tomorrow!
The JETSTAR is pretty nice
Helsinki? Cool!
Many fleas there?
I actually live 35km north from Helsinki, a town called Järvenpää. :P
Here, where I live, we have several fleas, almost ten. More in the summer time. In Helsinki there are also quite many, but not right in the center so you'll have to know where they are.
The overall boombox selection in the fleas is quite appalling. Some from time to time here and there, but nothing special. The best find I had was last summer, the Qt27. Internet seems to be the best place to catch these babies...For example I got myself a Sanyo M-X920K from a local auction site for 40€!
I got that Jetstar from ebay.de, and I think it is german made. Google doesn't know anything about jetstars, so if anyone knows anything, it would be nice to hear.
Just pulled out the AUDIOTON and all i can say: Trash!
Sorry, not worth to get this thing.
Tiny sound off the small speakers and less quality.
But this is my thinking of it, don´t worry
I will part it soon...
Ok, just what I thought.
Not worth getting. Thanks for your help!
Found this today:
Mitsubishi TX-65. It was cheap, just 10e and everything worked, but didn't get it because I just don't have space for it right now and I prefer more one piece boxes.
Is this familiar to anyone?
No doubt, 10euro it´s worth!
Also i think MITSUBISHI boxes are quite rare.
But the problem is always the storage space....
Anyone heard of Catron? :O
