I've been a pretty unactive member of s2g over the past few years but prior to that really enjoyed participating in this forum.
I received an email on friday that went like this:
"Hey ****head, you never did post up that m70 manual that
you promised several members.
I know you're a crap contributor to the forum but come on lad.
Or would you prefer a ban from the forum?
GH (Member monitor / punisher)"
I realise I should have scanned the manual for those who wanted it but in all honesty I just hadn't ever got round to spending an afternoon scanning the near 100 pages.
Had I have received a polite request I would have been happy to put the effort in and scan the manual, but now I just feel disapointed that there are members (or even admin!) here who would rather threaten me than be decent and just ask nicely.
there is a post only a little further down about the same thing i think you will find that some nasty member is sending these to whoever he can, i dont think any moderator would dream of doing that and nor would most members.
i dont think its personal as many are getting similar emails

Looks like Rimmer is still punishing the site for being booted off after stealing from other members (including Jens). Pretty sure it's him..... always a bad apple in the bunch.

That's a pretty big accusation and we shouldn't accuse anybody without solid proof. Are you saying you have solid proof that it's Rimmer or you just suspect? Suspecting and knowing are two different levels all together. Personally I never had a reason to suspect him but that's just me, I don't know what the rest of you have experienced.

with Tim, and I got those emails also!

It's unfortunate that, as great as the internet is, it also allows people to hide behind anonymity.
And I'm with Walkgirl. I do not think it is former member Rimmer. PanFan's accusation is way off-base. Got proof? Then share it.
I doubt Tim would do such a thing.It is very careless to point fingers of blame without proof and if proof exist then it should be presented.The good name of a fellow boomboxer is not to be taken lightly.We must not jump to conclusions.Especially since he's not here to defend himself against the allegations.
