yes the pc5 runs on batteries and mains.

yeh paul,pc5 takes 8 battery`s,but with the weight of the thing,i dont think you`d want to put any in,not sure you`d be able to pick it up..but they sound beauty loud and bassy..built like a tank and weigh as much as a sherman tank..
