(same on the bmx scene ££££££)

Did you ever hear these Grundigs.
These have a nice warm sound and excellent reception.
If you take listening to radio serious , Grundig is the way .
Search for Satellit 700 on Ebay.
You will know what i mean.
These are not cheap to get either
so at carboots i'm passing up money then
Don't knock it 'til you try it Fellas!!! That thing may be like those BOSE stereos that they advertise on TV at 3am!!! Small in Size, but Big in Sound!!!
It might knock the fillings loose out of you teeth!!!

There is other radio collecting out there.
Vacuum tube radios, transistor radios,
and other shortwave radios, etc.
Boombox collecting is the most fun

sure i appreciate other dudes collect these things too, its just that they seem to be about the place a fair bit, didnt realise grundig was big in the radio world. i thought they were big in the argos catalogue back in the 80s but thats about it
hey
yeah it sounds like someone taking the p##s.
last week at my local car boot an old guy was asking £15 and £20 respectively for 2, nondescript small stereos that he'd bought from an auction?! - i tried to advise him he was way off and that he'd be pressed to get even half of that back. plus, stereos, at auction???????

still dont know anything about them..... it is old ... if somebody was looking for that one maybe....
ghetto.blaster - 2009-08-20 14:22
it is still not a boombox that you used to pull out the cardboard and breakdance to...
transwave5000 - 2009-08-21 01:27
These were the ones you
would take to a picnic,
camping or go fishing with.
Before the big boom and breakdance.
Donno about pricing on these, a bit high.
