Found it on the first page of Birth of the boombox 1976-81, 3rd from bottom of page. At $229.in 1979, it seems to be one of Panasonic's better units.
One on ebay now......
Looks like it's in pretty good shape...wonder how much it goes for...time will tell.

I agree about the volume controls...I havn't been able to find a handle for mine, though. Time to make one?
That will be a first for me...had a few thoughts involving wood re-inforced with a metal dowel...any ideas?
