Thats a cool system. What year is that and what size speakers are those, 8 inch"?
Dude, I have to comment on your Z car! I was at a party Monday night and the subject came up about how cool those Z's were....pretty much so ALL of them! I had a friend in high school that put a V8, Chevy 327 in a 260 Z. It handled like Sh!t, but man was that thing fast!
Nice Car and Boom Box!
Yup. 8 inch speakers. I'm told about 50 per side. Don't know what year but some of our experts will know. The 280 is a 1979 2+2. I bought it new. Great car. Only 137,000 k's. Goes really well.

It does look classy, or like a boom box NASA would use! Any pic's of the back?
And how many batteries does it take?
Here are some more photographs of my National Panasonic model RX-A2F. It takes 10 D cells. Colour of the front panels is a mid metallic blue. Boxes are black and all clip together. The 4th box holds all cables and tapes for about ten tapes.
that's all the luggage, that you need for a good trip
the ZX is looking very clean

Thanks for the great pictures. Thats a very interesting unit to say the least. It's like a moble recording studio. 10 D cells! It seems shocking, but other systems with 8 inch speakers use 10, so thats right in line.
Very nice Z indeed! You've taken nice car of it over the years.
