Here's a strange mini I picked up yesterday. Cassette and speakers on each side. Any one heard of a Promax be
fore. Works well
I didn't get what you meant in the first pic, then i saw the other deck door open
that's kinda cool - you need to photo it in a mirror mate
Good idea Bendy. This was the best I could do. Looks as though you are see
ing double.
that's cool mate
i have never seen one of those
cool though
it's funny that you did the mirror picture so soon as the time difference is throwing me off
it's dark here and 1:47 am in the morning here - and yet you have bright sunlight there - thats just weird for me
so what time is it there now ?
You'll notice that the handle on this is missing. I suspect it was made of thin tubular steel and mounted at one end. Time here in Southern Aus with daylight saving is 1.34.PM.
NICE LOOKIN BOX YA GOT THERE.....I VISITED MY SISTER IN OZ A FEW YEARS AGO AND SAW THE MOON UPSIDE DOWN...WIERD
DAVE ..UK
great box pity about the handle but still a very different boombox
This looks like a copycat of the first of the Sharp Twincam series - the size, the colour, the "handle-up-one-end" feature & even the speakers look similar.
Obviously the Twincam system was too difficult & expensive to copy (no one else bothered either) so they came up with a novel way of getting 2 decks into the small size.
Got any more pics?
I assume the batteries go in the underneath somewhere?
Hey wait, but it can´t play both tapes at the same time, can it?

Wow, thats just wild! 2 cassettes, 4 speakers. Very interesting!
This was the Sharp boomer I was blathering on about:
See the similarity?
That´s really a crazy and funny box!
Love it.
Reminds me a bit the "Zündapp Janus" car...
Wow, that's a really killer pick up!
Does it have any wacky features/functions listed on it? And do the 4 speakers work all the time or just the side the deck is playing on?
Love gimmick boxes like this. Classic!
Rock On.
All four speakers work when either side is played. I think the handle setup is probably the same as the Sharp. I have a Sharp twin cam that is similar. Does anyone know if this company produced other models?
