how long did i last, eh?

thats right chaps- ive gone and bought another!and this time, its a personal grail.im trying to exercise my "only get if worth it" perogative though.any way, on to the box.
its a Sanyo M7750LG, its a slimline mini, and heres the thing-it has no input for ac power cord.so as such i havent tested it yet, as i need to get 6 c cell batteries this morning to try and fire it up. but guys, this little thing is loaded with extras, and is really heavy. it has:
beat cancel on back
orange band selector switch on back
mixing mic l+r on side
rec/pb on side
phones socket on side
ext speaker l+r on side
dc 9v socket on side.
on the top it has:
rec/mute on/off
mode (expand/stereo/mono)
function (record/pb) radio on/off/tape
tape select (metal/cr02/normal)
balance
tone
volume(incorporating variable loudness)
and 6 deck buttons.
it has AMSS,twin aerials,METAL,and led's for rec/battery and the AMSS feature (x3).
it is covered in chrome, is nice and shiny all over with very little damage ( apart from the top trim is proud slightly on the right) and cost me just £2. yes £2.
it was at a new car boot i tried for the first time yesterday, as i'd been tipped off it was boom box central. the seller did tell me he usually has loads of big ones too- so hes got my number in case any big JVC's or more sanyos come in. or anything else big.
so guys after the walk round tour ( as i dont have the camera yet) can anyone tell me why it doesnt have a normal AC input? is it a foreign market model? is it rare? and does anyone else (with a camera and a nice story) own one?
im over the moon Big Grin

right, update for you.
put the batteries in and checked her out. at first i didnt realise i had it in sw mode as i was picking up a lot of chinese/japanese/european stations- idiot Laugh Out Loud
then when i flipped it over to fm the real beauty of this little diamond came to life.it sounds awesome to say its so small.clear, crisp and precise.and theres a green light on the tuner that lights up when the station is hit, and lights up then according to signal strength.
nice touch.
the cassette works, good and strong, except ff is weak for some reason. dont think the amss is working properly though. still the tapes play back brilliantly.
im gonna give it a dust and put it in pride of place.

i know, i tried. but thats the thing with this hobby.once you pick it up, you just cant put it down. and i'd been hunting for a sanyo of any type for a very long time.
not found owt else yet, and yesterdays car boot mission was a total waste of my time. all my contacts have totally dried up.
if im honest all im after now is a larger sanyo 1 pce, and a large, early as poss jvc.
if anyone has any ideas, let me know while i still have a little spare money!
