Hypothetical- NRFB NOS JVC RM-80?

jerryjg - 2009-11-28 22:56

Okay, heres one inspirid by a recent thread in the Walkman room(NEVER OPENED VTG 1996 SONY AM/FM WALKMAN).
What if there was soemwhere a never removed from box mint New Old stock JVC- RM80?
First off, someone would be a fool to buy it and break the seal or remove it from the box. As with other collectibles, it would be worth far more as a museum specimen in a mint sealed box.
What would such a piece be worth, provided there was an aunthentic provenance for the history of the unit and supporting the 100% operating condition of it?
