Paul,you got a gem there my friend Theres a lot of us on here,probably most of us,that are more than jealous,all my wife does is complain that they're all over the house.I have to hide and lie about new purchases,you get yours gift wrapped and sealed with a kiss,its just so unfair

i live with my folks (sadly) who also hate them, their excuse is theyre "taking over the house????!!!!" which is B.S because i dont have that many nowadays, and our lass is the same- over christmas i took my trk8020 with me to her house for some christmas tunes on christmas morning. i was told to get that thing out of the house!!!!!!!feck me!and the 8020 is my smallest box!i'd have liked to have seen her face if i'd have took my 8290 or gf525 instead!!!!!!!!
outside our world there is no true appreciation for our boxes- they all see them as scrap,and thats why half of them end up in the trash.they prefer their shoddy, modern rubbish that is so inadequate it doesnt justify buying them in the first place!our lass would NEVER DREAM of buying me a boombox for christmas, in fact i got nowt cos shes skint!now thats a girlfriend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got loads of boxes last year,but the best ones were Sharp GF777,Conion C100,Intersound J747 (jumbo J1) and just picked up another Sharp GF9000..
But for a girlfriend to enjoy your boxes,wow..that can only be described as a miracle..my ex hated all mine,i think it was part of the reason we split..but now i live on my own i dont have a woman to moan at me..i was gutted when we split up,but now..i'm happy and i would'nt want it any other way,single is best !!

I have to agree with bogdan; for her to source FOUR formidable boxes is really quite something. Think about it, she chose four nice boxes, it's not her own hobby and these are very difficult to come by.
