During last weekend was invastigating some new hunting areas. At the second place I did find a very nice sony reciever that I couldnt pass (SQR 6650 NM), but nothing worth bying on the boombox front. After visiting about 10 different goodwill stores and fleas, I had allmoust gave up the thought of finding a nice boombox. My last stop was a BIG goodwill store, hard to find in a small village in southern sweden. As I hadn´t been there before I didn´t know what I had to expect. I passed the door 10 minutes before closeing time and entered the furniture division. Lots of cool 50´s furniture, but that was not what I was looking for today.
However, after some searching i finally found the electronics division. OH MY GOOD!!! Turntables, recievers, walkmens and loudspeakers everywhere! Not the ordinary crap, but marantz, harman kardon, akay etc. I didn´t thoght theese kind of places existed in theese days. Ive been a VERY devoted hunter for almost four years now and have never seen anything like this.
So, where there any boomboxes?
