why do poeple list boomboxs on ebay as fully working then have a large list of things which are non working!!I was looking at a hitachi for 65 pound and it says fulling working then you read on the meters don't work and one of the channels is weak!!This is soo annoying!!! sorry about the rant!!

hey saxonman, that 1 gets me too, it,s really annoying seen that too many times. i think your reffering to the 8200 with decal ad sticker on not a bad box the 8200, ive had 2 in past.

I agree , I purchased a JVC RC550 the seller stated it was in good working shape, when it arrived oh boy, the cassette door was broken, and it need repairs such as belts, pinch rollers,and electrical parts, I am very lucky I took it to a local stereo repair shop, which I take all my ebay purchases, and this unit was restored , the tech made up a device that holds the cassette door, when play is pressed, in the end cost me $216 Canadian to repair, well worth to me for I have a rare machine in perfect working condition
I placed this unit in the shop December 2008 and I got it back March 2010.
