hi all u crazy lot just want to say that this site is amazing,ive wanted to log on for a good while now and i have finally got a pc to do so, u guys really talk some good stuff o n here , i just want to share with u all how i got started and became hooked on blasters, i was browsing cds and came across a 12inch 80s cd which adorned the vz2ooo on the cover, it looked amazing and from that mo i was hooked. i went all out to find a box, i tried so hard for months, then i noticed through a second hand shop window a philips d8614 in tip top condition for 15 quid, i nearly jumped through the window , did i pass it up , well guys the rest is history here i am totally hooked

Well your lucky,i've been suffering this desease since i was young,20+ years,got my first proppa box when i was 13 in 83,GF9500,and the first real that i bought with my own money was in 86,a sharp GF575..the guy in the shop held it for me while i paid for it,i paid for it in 3 payments then it was mine..happy times..

eh gettoman, im 35 an was a teen in early 90s when boxes went crap my first box was 1 i got off my old fella, a black philips with turbo bass generator on and 7 speakers, sure it was loud but i did,nt know anything about 80s boxes back then, i must add though i did rather enjoy cruisin the streets blastin out klf , my neighbours loved me , i blame my love for blasters on my old fella coz when i was a kid back in the fab early 80s i always remember him getting new 1s back then and i think thats where my fad started,don,t know how he got em though we had jack all back then, still have,nt
