I have been itching to do a new project boombox since my white M70...when this Crown 950 arrived it was in rough shape. It had stickers on the tuner glass and knobs and the paint surface was scratched as well. I stripped the chassis down to the frame, removed the stickers and poilshed the tuner glass, painter the speaker and tweeter grills, polished all chrome parts, and sanded and painted the front and back in high gloss black with a coat of gloss clear...by the way this puppy is 100% operational with new belts and all the meters light up...and believe me the pics don't do her justice...

Very nice job ....How do the 950 sound? I have an 850 and it is my best-sounding 1-piece. Been tempted to do a flat black with clear coat on it.
