My 2nd best sounding box,...
which sounds far better than the version with the 3-way speaker set up.
Not to mention, that it looks 3 times as cool.

Thanks, driptip!
That box would be this:
Probably close to the bottom of my list cosmetically, but the M90 was never a box I thought of as beautiful anyway so it's not a big deal.

That's a factory paint job... It also comes in 3 other colors, but the red is the best.

Driptip, a friend of mine from back in the day had a C-126 like that.
I wouldn't mind owning one of those someday. Still, I've always been fond of the box I recently got from member johnnygto,...
the Technisonic Conion TC-999.

Ok here's my latest 2 pics:
Sony CFD-5 in the work-office:
& My M90 with the little Toshiba XR-J9 hooked up in the home-office:
I am soon to be a jobseeker
so I must remember to bring the Sony home!
very impressive isolator
i hope one day i will get the chance to own an m90
I know everyone bangs on about the M90 like there's no other decent sounding 1pc boomers out there, but it really is a bit special...
Don't get caught up in paying silly money, but keep beleiving & it'll happen.
If my wife got her way, my M90 would be on eBay within the hour
...she'd have to knock me off me perch first, though!
oop, to keep in the theme, here's what I had in the home office before the M90 - another truly excellent sounding JVC:
Defenitely not everyone's cup of tea for looks, but by God it's got some deep bass
ye like you say not everyones cuppa but it does look quality sound, if andy v sees it he,ll be after that, hes going 3 piecers now
good pic isolator
check out this fisher ph492, i believe it oozes quality
ok guys this is me for those who dont know me, this is 1980 with my second boombox ever.
and i went back 25 years later to pose with an m90 at the same spot.
hey cool pics dt, you don,t look any older on the 25 year later pic
it must be all the m90,s youve lugged around, maybe il,e start luggin my big boxes around see if it works for me
hahahaha pretty good man, hey it would be nice if people start showing their then and now pics too, wha do you guys say?

hey lav dont worry man, that was just a thought.
very nice sony Daiwa! lovely condition, tho i have come across some of the early sonys and they are in the mid-small size, but packed the hell, so heavy and full of quality, the other pic is great with some giants there, and ofcourse come and visit us more often, is always nice to see old memebers around.

i have only been a member for a couple of months and i have noticed a sharp decline in posts, and members hardly on, or dissapearing for long spells.
does it have spells like this or does it seem quiet to anybody else?? maybe it,s had it,s day and iv,e joined after the golden era so to speak
come on guys lets bring this place back to life with some great topics an pics
Hey Lav, I get your point but you have to remember, some of us have lives outside of here!!!
We've got jobs, families, places to go, people to do, things to see and feel!!!
But whenever we have time, we drop in from time to time to check out what's happening here at Stereo 2 Go, the best Boombox Site in the Galaxy!!!
'NUFF SAID
By the way Daiwa, that Sony that you have there, looks just like a Realistic SCR-1!!! The Older Brother to my SCR-2 that you see here!!!
He's been searching for his long lost older brother for quite some time now, has anybody seen him?
Nice Box though Daiwa, take care of it!!!

i don,t think that,s the reason kb53, if that,s the reason then it basically means a few years ago when this place was booming people must,nt of had kids, jobs, and people to see about dogs an stuff
hahaha lav !!! hahaha
from what i can remember it was a more united site, back then we use to help eachother out with parts even complete boomboxes, now days everything is money
is defenately different feeling being here, but boomboxes are so much part of me and my past that is hard to let go, and i had try believe me!
BROKEN M71
wow thats a sorry site dt, looks like it,s been hit by an AMTRAK
as for helping people out well, i had only been joined here a week and somebody in scotland needed some parts, luckily i had a bashed up radio and i parted it out for him instantly
i posted the parts and did,nt even want the postal cost
i don,t have much of anything myself and im not ashamed to say so, but i like to help people out if possible
what im trying to say is not everyones after money i was brought up with nothing and im more than happy to leave with nothing, boxes fill the hole for me and i think that,s why i collect, it,s the only true thing in my life that gets me through apart from my kids.
i would just like to point out that the guy who had the parts from me did send me a cheque to cover postage, although i really was,nt bothered
thats great man, this site would be so much better if we all pitch in more by the way whats the lates on your radio?
ye your right there dt
that 777s absolutely stunning it looks factory fresh
there seems to be movement with the blockbuster now i tracked it with parcel force and it was checked into my local depot tonight only half hour ago
there is going to be a charge though because it shows on the tracking, waiting for customs charges
im not sure wether i will have to pick it up or wether they will deliver and send me a billing invoice.
either way i will be having it
it,s come too far to for me to lose out on it now, i will keep you posted
