well guys, i managed to get 8 D CELLS for the blockbuster, and guess what?? absolutely fu***ng DEAD, not a squeak it might aswell go in the bin

cheers g,man, i can't understand it it,s mint and the battery compartment is like new i think it will power up by mains but i don,t have the converter.
it,s a weird power lead with 2 prongs but their not round ones, their flat i would be willing to do a uk trade but i would like to see it power up first it really is a looker and i suppose after all the faffin about and the cost im a bit disheartened

You'll have to go to an electrical supply shop and buy another cord 'cause the one that came with that box is for use in the U.S.. Either that or buy one online. If it's attached to the box, you'll need an adaptor.

Also, I don't know about that box, but perhaps it has an AC/DC switch... If it does, switch it to DC and it should power up from the batteries.

One last word of advice... Check the voltage selector.

thanks MONO, it does,nt have a voltage selector switch, or ac/dc switch.
i cant change the lead becauce the power inlet part on the back of the box will only take the lead driptip sent with it, uk ones are different i should,nt have rushed in, i should of gone through everything with driptip properly, it,s my own fault i suppose unless it does,nt work on mains when i get a voltage converter, i was told of driptip it works so i hope when i get a converter it will it,s cost me quiet a bit of cash and messing around because of customs to get this box
