and thats how it stays-ive owned some right crap over the last year and a half,plus some other gooduns like the philips d8614 and aiwa tpr 968.but ive completed my crusade to find and own the best portable radio cassette recorders in the world.i think ive achieved that now-and these are my best ever-no more trades or purchases now-these ill keep forever.so many thanks to everyone over the past year and a half,especially az (lav loo),bushy (dave bush) and boomer-sorry mate cant remember your real name-tim, isnt it?
either way youve all been great folks,and youve all helped me in some way.ill still be on here but my collecting days are over.time to appreciate now.

hey andy when i saw the topic name, im all wrapped up, i was expecting a pic of you all bundled up in wrapping paper but then i thought no it can,t be, andy does,nt put pics up no seriously glad you got where you wanna be and it saves me trippin over to yorkshire and leaving with all your junk and driving 50 miles to stand in your yard for 5 mins good stuff andy just like me you got the boxes you really want, top stuff

of yesterdays three i just love the super jumbo-its bloody huge this thing-and has more lights than a disco-the 9696 sounds and looks perfect-and the m70?more bass than many other a machine-easily as nice to listen to as the m90-possibly even a bit better?
so yes all in all very happy guys

Andy, I can relate to what you said... Like me, you're not the kinda person who wants to own every box ever made. Might be better if you were 'cause then collecting wouldn't get boring. But after seeing the boxes that are out there and getting the ones you've wanted to get, why buy boxes for the sake of buying boxes? Yeah, that's a good strategy tho - get the ones you REALLY want... and GET OUT!

Still, if an opportunity to get a good box arises, hop on it!
