Very safe to assume that altho he wanted to share his videos/collection and whatnot, he's not very good with the English language... Makes it easy to avoid embarrassment by not saying anything. I think if this was a Chinese boombox site, he'd have plenty to say.

He may not speak English well enough to hold a conversation... It might better for him to not speak than to speak and embarrass himself or be made fun of because of something lost in translation...
Choy is Chinese (I assume 'cause the language he uses is Chinese) but it could also explain why we don't have any Japanese members on either site... Cultural differences and not knowing the English language is why Yahoo Japan is closed to foreigners and why they won't ship outside of Japan.

I agree Mono..Thats a shame.there is some very cleaver knowlagable people in china and japan,would love to interact in a conversation with them..and you know i love jap boxes,there my fave stereo's,just love boxes that are different from ours..
its a shame we could'nt communicate with them through a direct translator,e.g,they can type in there sentence in chinese,but when we read it,its in english,then we reply to them in english,they read it in chinese/japanese,that would be excellent but not possible...
In our defense, if he knows how to post a vid on YouTube then he knows how to use translation software.
Technics Choy has been a member since April 06 and has only ever posted a link to his Disco Robo vid. er 53 times. In my books this is spam, not too sure if you all agree.
But anyway, let's look forward in haste to the next installment of the Disco Robo saga, eh?
