today i went to a flea market and scored a panny dt75 for 8 quid, not really my type of box but for 8 quid i had to grab it.
anyway it,s in decent condition fully working and is really loud
after hearing good things about this box i just had to get it even though i hate the look of it
anyway to cut a long story short i have just sold it to my girlfriends bro for £30, wow i must be getting desperate picking eggs up
sorry there,s no pics guys i don,t have a camera at the mo
How did it sound? Heard it has good bass.
it had good sound and bass, but i think the ct900 sounded that bit better
Oh oh. One of my faves, the 75. Love this thing. Not as good as the 707 though.
no coment.
but you have commented DT by saying no comment
if you was,nt going to comment you would of put nothing up
sorry it,s just me today, i think im going a bit insane of late
great stuff, i never knew these cobras was around in 1991, thanks for the link ADE
well Lav, i just wanted to say that this particular model is highly under rated, because is not square, but is a great machine and has very good sound.
yes i agree with you there DT, it is a great sounding box as panny,s usually are but the shape just did,nt do it for me
i think i grabbed it out of curiosity just wanting to hear it really
unique styling, great sound, and heavy too, but not 80,s and i really only love the 80,s boxes
I get where you are coming from, but, anybody who come`s to our house, isn`t interested in the 80`s boxes. They want to hear the rx-dt`s, kaboom, etc. Get a tape out, they are like "what`s that", stick a cd on
ye i have met a few people like that too, but in my opinion a good quality recording on a chrome tape is just as good as a cd
YOWSER!! did you know, i've never ever even seen a chrome tape, and that's going back to the 70's when i bought my first new boombox, a Grundig 4200 radio cassette player. So what chance have i got now, being that it's getting difficult to get hold of a normal oxide tape.
im sure you could grab a few on epay ADE
