real quiet round here

You should have seen this site when I joined in 2006, so busy as it was practically the only boombox forum! Then the stereophonik forum was big news for a while. I was a member there too! This site's not dead yet though! I think boomboxery has contributed to making this site quieter if I'm honest. Hey, have you noticed if that box is still in the window of that flat near you?

Its just the people are shy or can't spell good so they don't post anything

as it happens RA i have ye, i had a closer look last night and it looks to be a vz2000, that would be my best guess as i could make out the side slightly, and it looked to slope down at the top, from side view.
it,s on the 2nd floor but the path i walk past it on is on level with it, so to speak, and you can get quiet close, it looks a lot bigger than i first thought

I agree, it's been pretty slow lately, I'm going to start posting more brochures and 3d concepts to help out on my behalf.

ye that would be great RETRO i do understand people have jobs and stuff which makes it difficult to post regularly, i love this place when it's buzzin with life

It has been quieter around s2g of late & boomboxery has surely played it's part in that.
Hang on in there. In my experience of s2g, the next busy & stormy peroid is never too far away...

it already seems to have lightened up since last night, these new icons are great addition

i think so many dudes got new boxes they are busy playing with them ,oh well i know i haven't been around here much but i will try to contribute something in the future

that's what iam saying there's always peps on here and no new post

when i joined here 8 months back, i was posting non stop, i could'nt wait to post up new stuff all the time but as time goes on, there's less to post up about, like me i have had to slow my game down a bit cos i simply burn't myself out, i ran out of stuff to post up about, maybe that's the same for most guys eh

guilty Sometimes I just enjoy reading the "banter" that goes on between all the members

ye i can see where your coming from PG, i love posting up new stuff as much as poss, but like i said before, it's just not poss to be able to keep posting up, especially if your not picking up anything

as i wrote in other thread, i am mooving right now to other place, that's why i'm not posting so often. Now i have internet here at last, all kool, but the biggest problem with me is my English - i have never studied English, i've studied German. All i know about Eng came from music, TV, some magazines, books, some conversations etc. Sometimes i just do not know how to write what i'm thinking! I'd like to comment more often, but it would be dumb to write "wow! congrats, man", or "that box is amazing.." all the time :]. For example i've just finnished my last project - very good sounding , but uggly Gold Star egg's guts in the classic Sanyo's body. That's my fave box now. Material could be very large and ,i think, interesting for some of u guys, but how to write all that here - i dunno yet! But i will for shure!

hey BRIGADIER, your english is excellent mate if you have picked up the language that well from books, music, tv, e.t.c. then you should be very proud, english is probably the hardest language of all to learn ask me i am english and im still learning the language

I noticed that there seems to be less traffic here also and I have tried to post on a few occasions but don't seem to be much after. I too can remember when if you did not check at least twice per day you were out of touch

i checked out boomboxery and it blows this place away sorry to offend any of you fine folks.

This site can only be as good as you lot make it. I know it's human nature to want to be a member of the biggest gang but we can support both, you needn't offer allegiance to just one. I'm an active member of around 20 forums and Moderator of three, it is possible, really.

In my view it's a shame that our unique passion has to be spread across two sites, let's face it, there aren't many people in the world into this great hobby. But for whatever reason, there are two sites, and both can be supported.

at one point i remember the registered users here were almost 4,000 now its says 1948. so something seems very wrong
