Hi all! Been awhile since I posted on here, but gotta tell ya this one! I recently had to deliver some antique furniture to this small town auction place about 10 miles from my work. I was never there before and had to find it with mapquest. Anyways, I went there to drop off the items and decidec to walk around and look at the merchandise. They only have auctions on tuesdays only starting @ 1pm for the small items, then furniture/big items @ 7PM. I happened to spot the back of a Panasonic RX-5080/5085 (look alike from the back), so walked over and spun the unit around and it was an RX-5085!! It looked complete except it was missing one of the chromed plastic tips for the toggle switches, but otherwise complete. Not sure if it works 100%, but it was just neat to see something like that in the wild! I may have to leave work early on tuesday and take a drive over to Farmersville Auction! The 5085 was my very first boombox I got in 1982!
