nice $$ find --

try alcohol and a towel and PLENTY of passes..
an hour or 2 should do it

it will end up as the bare plastic that it should have been in the first place.
My green Kaboom has this sticky stuff in the same places. With it being such a bulky box, it is easy to accientally knock it on something when moving it around a confined space. I've found if this happens, it marks the sticky stuff. A couple of rubs and the scratch is completely gone. It's annoying when dust and sluff stick to it though.
Congrats on your find, Ira. These are the bassiest sounding boxes around.
warm water and dish soap works
Nice find, looks like the original kaboom.
Even with the sticker on it . Very neat deal for the money
congrats FP, bargain find mate, defo a box for sound rather than the looks though, i believe these kabooms sound awesome, i was going to buy one for a friend that's wanted one a long time, looks like the deals fell through though, anyway congrats on a great find
hey fresh , i have tried goo gone on sticky **** and it works like magic,
I agree with Sinister and driptip. Both work great. I took mine all apart and soaked them. Takes awhile but be patient and it can all be removed. AND thats a great price. Nice find.
Nice find!!
I solve all my sticky problems with a clear and smooth piece of paber and WD40.

Thanks for the tips everyone iam almost done cleaning it up. The goo was so thick I thought it was rubber
when I finsh cleaning the box up ill post new pics thanks again for getting me out of this sticky situation
Nice bargain! I bought one brand new and it didn't have that sticker.
I used borax dissolved in warm water, no scrubbing required.
Might want to do the belt, if it breaks while playing, it is impossible to fix without breaking the door off.
