It's just one of hundreds of reference photos I snagged from eBay years ago, so this thread could go on forever Roll Eyes Big Grin

mrp32dave - 2010-11-21 07:38

This is a great thread, but where's the minis?
Here's a couple of mine.

lav.loo - 2010-11-21 08:38

mrp32dave - 2010-11-21 08:42

No sorry not a Sanyo or Sharp, a little clue one them is a very nice A--- the other a famous UK brand Smile

docs - 2010-11-21 08:57

Aiwa and Panny?

mrp32dave - 2010-11-21 09:35

Yeah the top is an Aiwa but which one? It has an all metal front panel and 15 track memory music sensor system and is from 1981.
The bottom one is not a Panny, keep trying.

lav.loo - 2010-11-21 10:12

id'e say the other one is a ferguson, i think that's a british brand Big Grin

Eek that's gotta be the nicest mini iv'e ever seen Nod Yes Big Grin Bopping

retro.addict - 2010-11-22 14:28

mrp32Dave, those Roberts RSR-50's are super-durable, indestructible little boxes, very heavy for their size, and can take some abuse. I had one in pretty bad condition but it was still really solid and sounded really good. The LED meter was very nice too. If you ever want to sell yours, please give me a bell.

retro - 2010-11-22 19:08

lav.loo - 2010-11-23 02:56

hey AGENT O, if your gonna do walkmans, count me out right away Big Grin although i can see why people do love them like boxes, and RETRO, your KX101 was easy, you can just make out the CASIO badge Big Grin Bopping

ao - 2010-11-23 03:04

OK, great, pop downstairs as I've started a dedicated thread.

retro - 2010-11-23 04:08

d'oh I forgot to blur the badge LAV, and for some strange reason, the seller chose to remove the mics for the rear shot AO. He probably thought the wires were unattractive.
