I have to admit,in recent years,my boxes have had a large amound of neglect and abandonment, and i've found that the less i use them, the more issues arrise, usually with the cassette decks,i think no use at all is more damaging than use itself..
so i've invested in some origonal cassettes,i wanted origonals because they have been recorded at the perfect quality, its hard to actually make your own and get them to sound right..
The ones i bought So Far are ones i used to have on cd,now i've bought on cassette...
M-People - Ellegant Slumming,
Enigma - Cross of Changes,
The Verve - Urban Hymns
Heaven 17 - The Luxery Gap,
Soul.II.Soul - World Power,
Bjork - Debut
Going to buy more..
I still play cassettes that I recorded from the "Mister Magic Rap attack show" and the "Dj Red Alert show" from the 80's. All of these tapes were recorded on the boxes I owned Back then and they still play flawlessly today.

Dire straits is great!
the " brothers-in-arms " tape ---
everything on it is the bomb
I am a Die Hard Hip Hop, Rap , fan vintage from way back 1980. My boxes mostly have beats from back in the day, Edwin Birdsong, Zapp, Gap Band,Whodini, Run DMC. In my opinion this is what these machines where built for..
hey Bendy...........just lovin those electro tapes
