Wow Brian , the one in this auction looks very sweet
Problem is that these are rarer than the M 90
The prices they fetch are an indicator

and to think i picked a sweet sk909L up at a booty a few year back for a tenner then i got rid of it a year or so back for peanuts, should i shoot myself now or later

Yeah brian,i noticed since i got my boxes from there,the bidding has gone crazy,i'm abit surprised really that the boxes are fetching so much because most of the sellers list the boxes as junk and dont give a detailed description of what they are selling,them are the ones you got to be warey of,because that was the case with the boxes i bought,they were'nt very detailed in description,and the pictures of the boxes were pretty poor..and i only found out when they got here,that there was loads of issues with them,snapped tape door hinges,cronic static on the controls,blown speaker,badly scratched casings,and you got to remember,they run off 100v only..and whats worse with anyone that are thinking of buying from there,you have to bid,win,pay for the box,pay for the shipping from the seller to the middle man,pay the middle man for his fees,time ect,pay for extra packing,,pay for the shipping which in my case was £130 each because i wanted them shipping fastest way to minimize risk of damage in shipping,and in most cases,for us in uk,we have to pay for import duty which in my case cost me over £100 for 2 boxes,when you total it all up,it aint no bargain in the end,and you dont know what your getting until it actually arrives and you open the parcel...

Hey Eddy.... I think that would hold true for the Americas and Europe, but I have seen many more SKs on Yahoo Jap then M90s (at least when I've been on there.

Gettoman.... Mine have had a ton of issues with them as well, but that doesn't stop me 'cause I am okay with my hands and fixing them up... my GF 1000, man you would have cried if you had got that like it was... but with time and a few part (along with epoxy paste and stuff) it is at 99.5% now. Oh, and I always had them shipped via ground, longer but a hell of a lot cheaper. All the Bboxes I got from Yahoo Jap (counting all the fees and stuff, ALL) came out to be a LOT cheaper than if I had got them from the Americas and/or Europe.... But that was then, I can no longer say that for now, hence this SK post.
