yes i own it....its awesome...has about 130 pages more or less photos of eye candy....in the back has a list of the boxes in the book with years they were made.... though most of whats in the book is written in japanese ,its a small cool book...i think it worth it for any boombox fan...

well i like both books.....i think a must have in your library of books....the boombox project has allot depth in the boxes and history domestically...the catalog is mostly a picture book of the domestic japanese boxes specifically has some paragraph intros for different sections of type of boxes but written in japenese...the project book is hardcover much bigger...and the japanese catalog is like a softcover pocket book more less... here is a youtube video review of the japanese catalog book..

Just bought The Boombox Project tonight from Chapters. I have to recommend this book to anyone who loves these boxes, and collects them. It would also be a good read for anyone into the retro-style culture we see being revived today. It's full of super boss pictures of bomes, plus many are insitu pics with the box as it should be used.
Love it! Reccomend it! Buy it!

I just got the book from Amazon in the mail yesterday. It is awesome! They did a wonderful job of putting it together. I just wish they would have it all in English, as well as Japanese. They have some wording in English, but the descriptions and probably the more important information is all in Japanese. Oh, well it's still a nice book!
